This Business Requirements Document (BRD) outlines the implementation of Temenos' Transact core banking product to replace Test Republic Bank's legacy mainframe banking system. Business Objectives
The primary business objectives of this project are:
- To migrate all retail checking and savings accounts from the legacy mainframe system to Temenos' Transact core banking product.
- To ensure that the migration process does not disrupt customer access to their accounts.
- To decommission the legacy system and transition to a cloud-based SaaS solution.
- To complete the implementation by New Year's Eve, 2025.
Project Scope
In-Scope:
- Migration of all account information from the legacy mainframe system to Temenos' Transact.
- Integration of Transact with third-party payments software (Paymentus) and Loan Origination System (LOS) (LendingPad).
- Automation of testing using Selenium.
- Purging and closing of accounts with $100 or less and refunding the account owners by check.
- Ensuring the UX design uses only different shades of blue.
