Introduction

This document outlines the user stories for the Commercial Loans project. The aim of the project is to design, build, and implement a fully functional post-origination commercial lending solution.

Purpose

The purpose of this User Stories document is to capture user requirements for the commercial lending solution in a simple and understandable format, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the system’s functionality.

Scope

The scope of this document includes the requirements for developing and implementing a system to book commercial loans, both bilateral and syndicated, and to account for such loans throughout their lifetime.

User Stories

User Story 1: Loan Booking

  • As a: Loan Officer
  • I want to: Book a new commercial loan into the system
  • So that: The loan details are accurately recorded and managed throughout its lifecycle

Description

The system should allow loan officers to input all necessary details for a new commercial loan, including borrower information, loan amount, interest rates, and repayment schedule.

Acceptance Criteria

  • The system should allow for the input of all relevant loan details.
